Lalatango tango shoes are designed in France and handcrafted in Portugal by specialised shoemakers, combining traditional shoemaking techniques with materials chosen specifically for dance. The shoes include a Poron® memory-foam insert, called “ultra-cushioning anti-pain podiatric foam”, under the metatarsal area to cushion pressure and absorb impact during prolonged dancing and that keeps its shape over time.

They also use croupon leather soles, a dense leather commonly used for dance shoes, which provides durability and a controlled glide on the floor.
