Regina is an Italian shoe brand founded by fashion designer and tango dancer “Eva Nataraja”, the artist’s name of Eva Maltoni.
Regina’s signature details are a crown tattoo on the left heel and the phrase “Seduce me” inscribed on the sole. The shoes also feature a distinctive crown-shaped buckle, larger than conventional buckles for easier handling, and a patented elastic at the large toe for enhanced comfort.
Regina is renowned for its comfort, padding and glamour.

Owner & history
Regina was founded by Eva Nataraja, who also founded Bandolera. Based in Riccione, Italy. Founded in 2010, Regina quickly gained recognition when tango maestra Noelia Hurtado wore the shoes on her world tour.

Shoe sizes & fit
Regina offers regular and slim widths, a cushioned front, and an elastic at the large toe for enhanced comfort. The padding is called “Regina Tango Shoes The Original No More Pain COMFORT Tango Style©”.
Regina provides heels at various heights: A (10cm), AY (10.5cm), B and BS (9cm), BY (9.5cm), C and CS (8cm), CY (8.5cm), D (7cm), E (6cm), and F (5cm). Different heel options are available, the Y variant (shifted slightly forward under the heel), S (slightly shifted back), and the GS option (in the regular position but sprayed rather than covered).
25 cm foot length is a size 38 at Regina.
Established in 2010, the brand’s most recognised models are the Eva 3 Twins Star – named after Eva/Evita Perón – and the Recoleta.
Beyond the main collection, Regina’s NTRJ line features a comfortable 4.5 cm heel ideal for practising, whilst the KATY line offers a low 1 cm heel, perfect for those who lead or teach. The ETOILE line offers a 1 cm heel and is very soft and flexible, and the BOTITAS line includes a 2.5 cm heel made from very soft, unlined suede leather. (→ more)
